A record-breaking £5m mobile tickets in one week have been sold via Corethree’s m-ticketing systems, issuing a 600,000 m-tickets, says the mobile payments provider.

Since its launch back in 2012, Corethree has built up an “enviable and lucrative” client base, including First, Arriva, Transport for London and TfGM.

Using historical travel data from the heart of the business, Core Engine, Corethree arms its clients with invaluable industry knowledge and savvy insights as to the way passengers move and travel around the UK, allowing the development for better business models and stronger consumer relations.

“We have seen unwaveringly impressive progress at Corethree since our beginning, and yet the rapid growth that we’ve seen in the last few months alone just shows how our payment solutions and innovative technologies are continuing to spearhead the way in the transport arena,” says Ashley Murdoch, CEO Corethree.

“We are completely blown away by the commitment from our clients to developing and delivering bespoke mobile ticketing solutions for their passengers and we are delighted to see that these technologies have been embraced by their customers with impressive enthusiasm.”

Corethree’s m-ticketing apps are available for download via the iTunes App Store, Android or Google Play.
