The British Tourism & Travel Show (BTTS) will host over 270 exhibitors, many of which are planning new launches. The trade only exhibition will showcase some of the latest trends, products and experiences in the tourism and travel industry, with the pick of the UK and Ireland exhibiting across the two-day show.

Market Insights

Taking place at the NEC Birmingham on 25-26 March, it’s the biggest domestic travel and tourism trade show for Britain and Ireland this year. Highlight include a full programme of Keynotes and panel sessions, sharing insights on everything from experiential tourism marketing strategies to sustainable coach tourism, new travel legislation and post-Brexit tourism opportunities.

VisitEngland, AGTO, Tourism Alliance, Tourism for All, the Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT), Green Bus and Coach, Digital Visitor, and Travlaw will be speaking in its business seminar line-up.

For the complete programme and more insights about what to expect at the two-day show, view the Event Preview.

Acclaimed Awards

Coinciding with BTTS, the British Coach Tourism Awards (BCTAs) will take place at the National Motorcycle Museum on 25 March 2020.

The only awards scheme dedicated to the coach tourism sector in the UK, the BCTAs acknowledge the hard work of those who contribute towards this vital industry sector.

Lloyd Jones, Event Manager, says: “The exceptional calibre of this years’ entries made judging a difficult task, and we owe a debt of thanks to our judging panel who assessed submissions over the course of two days”.

Judges include; John Wales, CTA Chairman; Wendy Hartley-Scarff, AGTO CEO; Andy Warrender, CPT Coaching Manger; Richard Delahoy, SIGNAL Training and Consultancy Services Managing Director; Ian Jefferies, Visit By Coach Director; Stuart Duddy, Isle of White Railway Trustee; Steve Whiteway, three-time CPT President; and Anthony Amos, UKinbound Head of Business Development and Membership.

You can view the shortlist on pages 31-36 of the Event Preview. In addition to hearing who has won the sought after accolades on the night, guests will enjoy a three course meal and entertainment provided by hit musical Mamma Mia, in conjunction with Made.
