LandFlight GM Trevor Baker: ‘Thrilled to bring DCPC training in-house’

Solihull operator LandFlight Travel Services has delivered Driver CPC training externally for the first time, with 60 employees from Shirley-based Hollywood Travel benefiting over three days.

LandFlight received its DCPC training centre accreditation in December 2015 and has previously used it to deliver training to 36 of its own drivers.

Says General Manager Trevor Baker (pictured): “Both the trainers and the centre have undergone comprehensive testing to meet the high-level standards needed to run the DCPC course, and we are thrilled to be able to bring this training in-house, both for ourselves and for other local companies.

“Our trainers have first-hand and current knowledge of how a site works and the everyday tasks that drivers undertake.”

“We couldn’t be happier with LandFlight’s delivery; it exceeded our expectations,” adds Hollywood Travel Transport Manager Cheryl Godfrey.
