Reading Buses held its 11th annual charity Open Day on 1 July at Reading Buses Great Knollys Street Depot with the theme of ‘Out of this World.’

The Open Day, in support of its charity of the year Autism Berkshire, is a chance for the town to come together for a fun day to celebrate all things bus. Following the theme, Storm Troopers, themed ‘worlds,’ space-themed cakes and more were there.

Says Reading Buses CEO Martijn Gilbert: “A huge thank you to our team, volunteers, supporters, fans and visitors who made the Open Day so brilliant. It was my fourth and final as CEO here, and was by far the busiest and therefore best.”
