Spot checks on Plymouth school buses

Spot checks on Plymouth school bus providers will now be carried out to ensure vehicles are legal and not putting children's safety 'at risk'.

It comes after parking enforcers clamped a white Iveco school minibus in Thornbury because its road tax had lapsed.

A Plymouth City Council spokesperson says: “Should we find that a contractor is putting children at risk, we would take immediate action.”
