Lancashire-based Travellers Choice has taken delivery of nine Volvo B11R Jonckheere coaches adding to an existing fleet of almost 150 coaches, of which nearly 90% are on Volvo chassis.
The new vehicles – a mix to two and three-axle coaches – also introduce the firm’s new branding. Existing coaches retain the previous ‘swoosh’ style.
The new coaches will be used for tours across the UK and Europe.
Says Travellers Choice MD John Shaw: “We took delivery of the first new B11R JHV2, when it made its debut at Euro Bus Expo last year.”
In addition to the restyled front and rear exterior modules that creates a modern aesthetic appearance, the Jonckheere JHV2 offers many additional and improved features and benefits for drivers and passengers alike.
Adds Mr Shaw: “While we’ve selected all nine vehicles on the Volvo B11R chassis, they are specified with different bodywork, features and benefits, so that we have a varied and flexible offering for our customers.”
Travellers Choice was established in 1872, the family run business offers its customers a range of coach hire, excursions and holiday packages
“We bought our first Volvo coach in 1977 and have had a very strong association with the manufacturer ever since.
“When considering the addition of new vehicles to our extensive fleet, we looked no further than Volvo.
“At Travellers Choice, we have always trusted Volvo and we know that we have a good support system behind us with their dealer network.”
