First Travel Solutions has named Nic Ryder as Head of Business Development. She joins from Day Out With The Kids, a digital platform that helps families plan experiences, where she led the membership team.
Prior to that, Ms Ryder held senior roles at Virgin Trains and Avanti West Coast Trains. At both she oversaw commercial partnerships and the building of what First Travel Solutions describes as “innovative solutions in the rail and travel space.”
That partnership and customer-led growth strategy experience will be key to the managed ground transport provider, which says it plans to continue expansion of its footprint across that field along with catering to meetings and events.
“Nic’s cross-sector expertise, combined with her deep understanding of customer engagement, will be instrumental in driving new business, building strategic alliances, and supporting First Travel Solutions’ mission to deliver safe, sustainable and seamless journeys for over a million passengers annually,” the FirstGroup subsidiary says.
