Longstanding coach industry member Mark Jordan has been promoted to Operations and Aftersales Director by Irizar UK. He steps up from the Head of Aftersales position, having joined the dealership from Lucketts Travel in early 2024.

Mr Jordan’s remit now captures vehicles across their entire lifecycle, from point of entry to the UK through preparation and delivery and into comprehensive aftersales support. That pathway ensures “a seamless and consistent experience for customers,” Irizar UK says.

With over 30 years’ experience, Mr Jordan was latterly Head of Engineering with Lucketts. He has worked closely with Irizar UK since its formation in 2011, first as a customer for integral coaches and now as a member of the senior team.

A bolstering of that leadership capability comes after the business has successfully moved into its purpose-built headquarters in Blyth, Nottinghamshire.

Mr Jordan’s responsibilities cover both the coach and the e-mobility sectors of the Spanish manufacturer’s UK division. It says that his extensive product knowledge coupled to first-hand understanding of buyers’ requirements “will further enhance customer confidence and long-term support.”

Speaking about his elevation, Mr Jordan says: “I am pleased to be part of the Irizar UK team at such an exciting stage in the company’s development.

“Having now settled into our new Blyth facility, my focus is on ensuring a smooth, joined-up process for our customers – from when a vehicle arrives in the country, through preparation and delivery, and throughout its operational life.”

Irizar UK Managing Director Andrew Blundell has congratulated Mr Jordan on his advancement.

“I am absolutely delighted to have been able to promote someone of Mark’s calibre and experience. His expanded role reflects the importance we place on operational excellence and aftersales support. Mark will play a key role in delivering a consistently high-quality Irizar ownership experience for our customers.”
