Isri displayed its prototype headrest incorporating a phone holder and wireless charger.

It says the unit gives a clear improvement to the passenger experience, with the potential to provide smart ticketing and generate revenue from sponsorship and on-board services.

Wireless, or wired access to charging in every seat position reduces “low-battery anxiety” and securely holds the phone in seat back. As well as assiting use of the bus operator app for services like journey information, ticket validation and special offers.
