Twelve community groups and two universities are to benefit from total funding worth £190,000 provided by the National Express Foundation.
The latest funding from the charity, which helps disadvantaged young people, will support another 1,500 young people across Birmingham, the Black County, Coventry and Kent.
Earlier this year, it awarded £242,760 in community grant and bursary funding to 13 community groups. Since its launch in 2012, the Foundation has supported more than 17,500 young people.
