HCT Group clarification

In regards to article about Impact and HTC Group [routeone/News/16 January], just some clarification from within the Group.

The article is correct, but private hire was only a small part of Impact’s work, and loss making, so wouldn’t stand the investment needed to meet ULEZ.

80% of the business was contracts, and we’ve already won more new contract work than we’ve lost through private hire.

So for the avoidance of doubt, it’s a bigger company now, and growing, carrying on in the same place with mostly the same team, but will just be trading as HCT Group in the future rather than Impact.

Phil Stockley, Head of Commercial HCT Group
