Empress Coaches of Hastings has taken delivery of a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with an UNVI Vega EX conversion, supplied by Taylor Coach Sales (01638 780010).
It is built on a 516CDi base vehicle and it comes with 22 Vogel seats, saloon air-conditioning, double-glazed panoramic side windows, a coach-style rear with a boot and a powered plug entrance door.
Says Director Steve Dines: “Empress started with a brand-new coach. Over the years, we have purchased both new and second-hand vehicles, although in recent times – and especially with Euro 6 – we are delighted to be buying new again.
