Bourton-on-the-Water operator Pulham’s Coaches has taken delivery of a 57-seat Plaxton Leopard built to PSVAR specification for home-to-school transport work, delivered by Alexander Dennis (ADL).
The coach is built on the Volvo B8R chassis and replaces an earlier non-accessible vehicle of the same model.
The operator says home-to-school transport has helped contribute to its growth in recent years. The latest investment brings its fleet total to 55.
“We have been getting on the front foot with PSVAR,” says Director Andrew Pulham. “The Plaxton Leopard has already been a strong performer in our fleet, giving us excellent value for money, so the decision to invest in the latest accessible version was an easy one as this ticks all the boxes for a versatile vehicle.”
Lee Salt, Alexander Dennis Sales Account Manager for Central England and Wales, adds: “Pulham’s Coaches is renowned and respected for its immaculate fleet, which has facilitated the part exchange against an existing Plaxton Leopard in the knowledge that it would generate strong interest from potential buyers, and indeed it has sold on immediately.
“It continues to be a pleasure to work with the successful family team at Pulham’s, and we’re honoured that our Plaxton coaches and ADL buses are a key part of this high-profile fleet.”
