Wheelchair and accessibility product manufacturer Koller Engineering has been awarded ISO 9001:2015 recertification for its quality management process.
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 is the standard for a quality management system and a means for an organisation ‘to improve its overall performance’. The certificate demonstrates high standards in the design, development and delivery of products and services.
Koller, which celebrated its 40th anniversary this year, received its recertification on its annual external audit. According to the company, the certificate showcases the design and manufacture of its precision machined safety restraint components.
“We are very pleased to have maintained our certification to ISO 9001:2015,” says Koller Engineering Director Dean Koller. “It provides additional assurance to our customers that we are focused on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
“There is a distinct advantage in using suppliers that are ISO 9001:2015 accredited in helping ensure consistent and good quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits.”
Mr Koller says the certification provides further proof that the company is serious about its ongoing quality commitment and service to its customers.
