University of Hertfordshire-owned bus operator Uno has launched a customer rewards scheme on its mobile ticketing platform in conjunction with digital and technology solutions provider Rise Digital Media.
The concept delivers reward points for every pound spent on mobile tickets. Those points are automatically converted into money off vouchers for future purchases and they are available when buying any mobile ticket. Their introduction adds a further feature to Uno’s app platform alongside live bus tracking, journey capacity information and ticket gifting.
Says Commercial Manager Ed Cameron: “Our mobile app platform is as popular as ever, with people not only enjoying the benefits of discounted tickets compared to buying on the bus, but also the convenience of purchasing before travel.
“The new rewards scheme gives this an extra boost, both rewarding existing customers as well as being another reason to switch to bus from other, less sustainable modes.”
The Uno app gives users 100 bonus reward points with their first mobile ticket purchase. Bonus points are also offered when a customer refers a friend or family member to the platform.
