Checkpoint is the innovator behind the original, and world’s first loose wheel nut indicator, Checkpoint Original.

Managing Director, Mike Marczynski’s background is in commercial vehicle management, and he started to develop the idea of the loose wheel nut indicator after an incident with one of the vehicles in his fleet. The vehicle suffered a problem with its wheel fixation that nearly resulted in it detaching.

He saw a need in the commercial vehicle market for a device to help prevent wheel nuts loosening, as wheel loss could result in subsequent vehicle damage and even loss of life.

And so Checkpoint was invented.

As Checkpoint’s popularity grew, the benefits of the wheel safety products became apparent to the public transport sector, where safety procedures are vital. You will now see the Checkpoint range of indicators and retainers on coaches and buses around the world.

Visit the experts in wheel safety at this year’s Busworld Show – Stand 215, Hall 2.
