Microlise: So-called Big Data coming to fleet management during 2018

Telematics and technology specialist Microlise says it will harness the power of Big Data in 2018 thanks to advanced data analysis techniques and a growing demand for the capabilities that they enable.

Microlise captures over 7m miles of road data per year. It has worked with the University of Nottingham and says it will soon be in a position to produce innovative tools that will create new-value propositions within the transport sector.

Among them will be predictive analytics for vehicle health, improving hazard awareness and briefing drivers.
