Alpine Travel subsidiary Jones Holidays has transitioned its Flint travel shop to a new location on Church Street.

Visitors to the new Church Street spot can anticipate a rejuvenated setting with modern amenities and improved parking. Customers can also indulge in high-street shopping during their visit.

The company says the relocation from its historic Chester Road location signifies an evolution of the brand and a dedication to enhanced client servicing.

Beverley Cooke, Head of Sales and Marketing at Alpine Travel, elucidates the rationale behind the move: “We were inspired to make the move to Church Street to put us in the heart of the town, making it easier for our customers to visit us and to support the town centre.  We’ve been at our previous location for many years, and with the growth of the business, have found that we have outgrown those premises, and it was time to make the location move to somewhere larger and build a base where customers old and new can find it easily and visit us.

“Following the opening of our Craig y Don shop, it’s demonstrated the benefit to our customers of being able to visit the travel shop to make bookings and enquiries. The new location will increase footfall and support the needs of our customers. Although online bookings are important, we like to offer a face-to-face comfortable experience for those wishing to book in person.”

In conjunction with the relocation, Jones Holidays has broadened its home pick-up territories to now incorporate Cheshire East, North Shropshire, and Warrington. This progressive expansion, following the successful Jones Holidays Craig y Don branch launch in 2021, reinforces Jones Holidays’ evolving presence within North Wales.
