Anita’s Coaches of Stansted Airport has added a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with an Elegance conversion to its fleet, supplied by EVM UK.
It is built on a 517CDi extra-long wheelbase Sprinter and has a manual gearbox. 16 Executive Class 110 seats are fitted, each equipped with a three-point belt and recline. All are finished in leather.
Aisle-side armrests are also part of the package, as are matching curtains and 10 double USB charging sockets, a DVD player with a 17in monitor, passenger service units on the underside of the luggage racks, and a courier position.
A Webasto 9.3kW saloon air-conditioning unit is provided, while at the rear is a drop boot with fold-out flap and stainless-steel boot protector. A half-height shelf within it maximises storage.
Masats has provided a powered plug entry door, behind which is a three-stage step with LED strip lights and stainless inserts. The base vehicle OEM’s hinged doors are retained at the rear, while the minicoach is completed by Tarabus non-slip flooring and Anita’s Coaches’ trademark orange livery.
