Birmingham operator Bouden Coach Travel is among the first to take delivery of a 13.5m, two-axle VDL Futura FHD2-135, supplied by Moseley (PCV) (01977 609000).
The 61-seater joins a 57-seat, 12.9m FHD2-129 purchased earlier in 2018.
It has been built to Bouden’s specification, which includes USB charging points for every passenger, a centre sunken toilet, a sink and a fridge.
Says Operations Manager Sophie Baugh: “For such a capacity a tri-axle layout is normally required, so our new coach brings benefits in terms of being lighter and more fuel efficient – common across the VDL brand.”
