The new Touring HD for Carvers continues its relationship with Scania

Ellesmere Port-based Carvers Coaches has returned to Scania Great Britain (01909 500822) for a 12.1m Touring HD.

Built on the K 360 IB chassis, the coach is powered by a DC-09 engine rated at 360bhp driving through an automated manual Opticruise gearbox.

It has 51 seats with leather headrest inserts and piping, a USB charging point for each passenger, a centre sunken toilet, a DVD player with two monitors, extra-tinted glazing, a Frenzel drinks machine and Alcoa Dura-Bright alloy wheels.

Says MD Mark Carver: “We took delivery of a Scania Touring last year and we have been overwhelmed by its performance. We have a long-standing relationship with Scania, having purchased our first new coach back in 2006.”
