Both of the new Irizar i6 integrals for Doig’s Coaches are two-axle models

Doig’s of Glasgow has added two i6 integrals to its fleet, supplied by Irizar UK (01909 500514).

Both are two-axle models. One is a 12.2m variant with 53 seats and the other is a 12.9m 57-seater. Each has a centre sunken toilet, an Actia video and Bosch audio system along with a servery and a drinks machine.

Says Director and Transport Manager Iain Forsyth: “These are like-for-like replacements for two older Irizars.

“Irizar UK can supply a versatile 57-seat coach with a toilet on two axles and that specification provides us with a coach equally capable of extended tour work or day hires.”

Power in each coach is from a DAF MX-11 engine rated at 370bhp driving through ZF’s AS-Tronic gearbox.
