Gee Vee Travel of Barnsley is among the first operators to take delivery of a Yutong GT12, supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach (01924 227722).

The purchase of a GT12 continues the established relationship between Gee-Vee and Pelican. The coach comes with a DAF MX-11 engine rated at 450bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife gearbox. Axles are also from ZF.

Inside, it has 51 seats and a centre sunken toilet along with mood lighting, a Bosch entertainment system, a fridge, 240v power sockets and USB charging points.

The driver benefits from adaptive cruise control and automatic windscreen wipers and headlights.

Paintwork was completed by Yutong in China and the coach’s appearance is set off by Alcoa Dura-Bright polished alloy wheels.
