Happy Days Proprietor Andy Davis takes delivery of the new VDL Futura 2

Stafford operator Happy Days Coaches has added a further VDL Futura FHD2-129, supplied by Moseley (PCV) (01977 609000).

The 12.9m, two-axle coach has 53 Class 300 luxury seats with leather headrests and piping to complement their Top Luxe red and black upholstery. Three-point belts are also fitted, along with foot rests, drop-down tables and magazine nets.

Additionally, four more seats have been supplied loose for fitting in the future.

Further elements of the specification are a Hanover destination display, a drinks machine, a fridge and a toilet, while to accompany the Bosch Professional Line entertainment system a digital television receiver is included.

Power is from the DAF MX-11 engine rated at 370bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife six-speed automatic gearbox.
