Goldline Executive Travel has added an Irizar i4 integral to its fleet. The coach has been supplied by Irizar UK and it represents a return to the marque’s integral product range for the East London operator.
The vehicle was previously exhibited on the dealership’s stand at Euro Bus Expo in 2022 and is a 12.9m model with 71 seats in a 3+2 layout. Each position comes with synthetic leather headrests and three-point belts. Wood-effect flooring is fitted, with carpet in the driver’s area, the aisle and at the rear of the coach.
PSVAR compliance is via a Masats lift integrated into the nearside centre stairwell. Irizar says that such an arrangement – which includes a single-piece door – gives “an improved passenger experience and minimum disruption to luggage capacity.”
Hanover destination displays are fitted and the coach is powered by a DAF MX-11 engine developing 367bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox.
At the time the Goldine Executive Travel i4 integral formed part of the Irizar UK display at Euro Bus Expo, the dealership noted that it was the first two-axle example built that has 70 seats or more and is accessible. A weight reduction exercise by the manufacturer has allowed such an achievement.
