Jumbulance Trust of Harpenden has taken delivery of a customised Van Hool TX17 Acron, supplied by Moseley (PCV) (01977 609000).

The 14m, left-hand drive coach is designed to carry patients and carers and it has space for six wheelchair users.

It also has a number of beds and is furnished with specialist medical equipment, a kitchen facility and a toilet.

Power is from a DAF MX-13 engine rated at 460bhp coupled to a ZF AS-Tronic automated manual gearbox. The coach joins a number of other Van Hools already in the Jumbulance Trust fleet.
