MD Coaches of Crediton has welcomed a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with an Ilesbus I-City low-entry conversion, supplied by Ilesbus UK.
Despite its minibus configuration, the vehicle has been upgraded to what the dealership describes as a minicoach specification. That includes coach-style seating and interior trim.
17 forward-facing positions are fitted along with three tip-ups. The vehicle also has space for six standing passengers, and it can carry one wheelchair user in the low-floor area.
Mobitech destination display equipment is installed along with a passenger information system that includes a hearing loop. USB charging points are at every seat, while CCTV and vehicle tracking has also been added.
The I-City is built on the Sprinter 519CDi base and has the 9G-Tronic nine-speed automatic gearbox. MD Coaches Director Tristan Hamilton (pictured, left) took delivery from Ilesbus Sales Manager Leon Fear (pictured, right).
