Morebus has put 28 new Alexander Dennis Enviro400 double-deckers into service on its trunk M1 and M2 routes between Bournemouth and Poole.

The buses represent a spend of £7.7 million. They have USB charging points and seating that is “more comfortable than ever,” says Go South Coast Managing Director Andrew Wickham (pictured). He observes that the investment new fleet is significant, but adds that the business has made the right decision in going for such a renewal.

“Our aim is to help to reduce congestion across the region – and we believe that making sustainable transport even more attractive is key to that,” Mr Wickham continues.

“Just one fully-loaded double-decker has the potential to take up to 75 cars off our roads, so we believe we have made the right decision in adding these impressive new buses to our fleet.”
