The coach is a 72-seater that will prove useful for schools work

A high-capacity addition to Basingstoke operator Mortons Travel’s fleet is a B8R with Sunsundegui SB3 bodywork, supplied by Volvo Bus (02476 210250).

The 72-seater will be used on a range of school and private hire work and continues an on-going relationship between Volvo and Mortons.

“We have enjoyed excellent fuel consumption and operational performance with all our other Volvos, which make up half of our fleet, so we had no hesitation in selecting it again for this purchase,” says MD Adrian Morton.

“We required a coach with a high seating capacity to meet the needs of our growing customer base so we decided that a Volvo B8R was right for us.” Good aftersales service was a further reason, he adds.
