EVM Grand Tourer for Plants Luxury Travel
SHARE

Plants Luxury Travel of Cheadle in Staffordshire has added a further minicoach from EVM UK in a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with a coachbuilt Grand Tourer body.

It is a 19-seater and built on the 519CDi extra-long wheelbase chassis. A nine-speed 9G-Tronic automatic gearbox is fitted and exterior finish is in Plants’ customary selenite grey.

Entry is via a Masats plug door. At the rear is a vertically lifting powered boot opening that operates via a dash switch or a button inside the 2.8 cubic metre storage area. Twin side lockers provide further luggage space.

A panoramic windscreen has twin sun blinds. Dash air-conditioning is complemented by a 15.5kW roof-mounted unit from Webasto that vents via passenger service units on the undersides of the luggage racks, and convector perimeter heaters.

Seats are finished in real leather with diamond stitching. Recline, three-point belts, aisle-side folding armrests, drop-down tables and magazine nets are part of the specification, along with wood-effect flooring.

A public address system is fitted as well as a seven-inch multimedia unit with touch-screen activation. It incorporates a feed from the reversing camera and has a USB input. A front-mounted Indel fridge completes the package.
