Yutong TCe12 for AirSym

AirSym has added a second battery-electric Yutong TCe12 to its fleet. The vehicle joins an initial TCe12 delivered to the Heathrow operator earlier in 2022 and it has been supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach.

The PSVAR compliant newcomer completed its delivery trip from Pelican’s Castleford base in Yorkshire on a single change. 281kW/h of energy storage is installed, and the coach has 50 seats in red half-leather trim.

Pelican has also supplied a 42kW mobile charger. When connected to a 63A, three-phase supply it can recharge the Yutong in around six hours.

The dealership notes that such power is commonly available to most operators, making it an enabler of battery-electric coaches when coupled to the mobile charger.
