The three new Alexander Dennis Enviro200s for Southdown each seat 30

Copthorne, West Sussex operator Southdown Buses has introduced three 8.9m Enviro200s, supplied by Alexander Dennis (01909 551166).

They have 30 seats along with USB charging points, under-seat lighting and wireless bell push systems and they will be used on routes 422 and 424 in the Crawley, Redhill and Reigate areas.

Says MD Steve Wallis: “The Enviro200 is a class-leading bus and an established market leader, so it was the obvious choice for these routes.

“This latest round of investment is a further demonstration of our commitment to continuous improvement and the creation of a modern fleet that is second to none.”

Power in all three of the buses is from the Cummins ISB4.5 engine coupled to Allison’s 2100 series gearbox.
