High-specification Versas have been put to work on the Aireline service

Transdev Blazefield has relaunched the service between Keighley and Leeds as Aireline with a fleet of high-specification Versas, supplied by Optare (01977 687200).

They follow some earlier Solos and as a result, almost all of The Keighley Bus Company’s network is operated with new buses.

The Versas come with a number of customer-pleasing aspects, including audio-visual next stop announcements, 4G wi-fi, USB power points and wireless charging for compatible devices, and mini tables at selected seats.

Additionally, glazed roofs have been specified and the buses have an illuminated Aireline logo on the front.

“These Yorkshire-built buses are filled with items suggested by those who know best – the people who travel with us every day,” says The Keighley Bus Company GM Colin Booth.
