Wexford Bus of Drinagh, Co Wexford, has added a first new-shape Volvo B11R 9700 to is fleet. It will be used on a twice-daily round trip to Dublin city centre and airport, covering 660km in the process, and has been supplied by Volvo Bus.

The new coach meets the PSVAR standards in force in the UK. Wexford Bus Owner and Managing Director Brendan Crowley says the business is making progress on ensuring that all its vehicles provide the same standard of accessibility to customers.

Mr Crowley adds that passengers like the look of the B11R 9700 and that when in the operator’s livery, it presents an eye-catching and distinctive image. “Wexford Bus has many other Volvos in our fleet and their reliability ensures that our customers in turn enjoy a reliable and enjoyable journey,” he says.

The Volvo B11R 9700 for Wexford Bus is a 13.1m, 53-seater with wheelchair user access immediately behind the front axle.
