The new coach has 70 seats; it will be used on school and wedding hires

Neilston, Glasgow-based Whitestar Luxury Travel has added a high-capacity i4 integral to its 18-strong fleet, supplied by Irizar UK (01909 500514).

The 12.9m coach has 70 seats to a 3+2 layout and it is destined to work on school contracts and wedding hires.

It comes with a DAF MX-11 engine rated at 370bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife gearbox.

“We are over the moon with the i4 integral, which is living up to the excellent reputation that Irizar UK has built up with us over the five years that it has been active in the coach market,” says Director Brian McGowan.

“We will maintain the coach ourselves, and it is likely to stay in our fleet for eight years.”
