Soon the coach and bus industry will make what is now a biennial collective visit to the NEC Birmingham for its dedicated UK trade show, Euro Bus Expo.
The past few years in that space have been challenging, broken up by a strong Euro Bus Expo in 2022 as stakeholders welcomed a reconnection opportunity. In 2023, external factors led to a focus on how trade shows evolve in the long-term and adoption of the two-year headway.
Some of those influences are the new norm, underlining the need for evolution. Things are looking strong because of that shift. The industry is interested, really interested, in this year’s show.
November’s gathering will bring the expected variety among exhibitors, with debuts scheduled across the vehicle, product and service landscapes. Notable is the depth of the Masterclass Theatre subject and speaker pool. Meanwhile, new networking tool Euro Bus Expo Connect will assist productive use of time.
Some raised an eyebrow at the decision to move UK coach and bus trade shows to a two-year interval, although many others see it as the right approach.
As elucidated when the decision was made in 2023, that pathway was followed based on feedback. Two years gives time to take stock and consider what the industry will want and need next time and for products to develop.
A responsive business adapts its offerings as their markets dictate. That is what has been, and is being, done with Euro Bus Expo. Quality over quantity wins the day – which is how the show’s future is lining up. See you there.
