Mobile column lifts from the workshop experts

Mobile column lifts are the ideal solution for heavy duty commercial workshops as, when compared to traditional pits or four post lifts, they provide greater flexibility, improved health and safety, more efficient workshop operations and less capital expenditure.

Mobile column lifts are easily portable, enabling work to be carried out in multiple bays within a workshop or simply put away to create additional work space when not in use.

Totalkare has been supplying the UK market with mobile column lifts for over 40 years, leading the way with our flagship range of cable-free and cabled lifts. In addition, we can offer an even specialist model designed for outdoor washbay use.

The T8DC cable-free mobile column lift is a versatile lifting solution, with each column capable of lifting up to 7,500kg.  Usable in configurations of 4, 6 or 8 columns, workshops across the UK benefit from a solution that can lift a wide variety of vehicles, from light commercial vans, buses and coaches, waste & recycling vehicles, heavy goods vehicles, heavy haulage vehicles and more.

The Totalkare G8AC washbay mobile column lift has been expertly designed to ensure many years of trouble-free use in outdoor/wash bay conditions. It is hot galvanised with sealed bearings, which provide long term protection from water ingress, making the lift ideal for outside use.

Like our other mobile column lifts, the G8AC is versatile and can be configured in sets of four, six or eight to suit a range of lifting requirements, with adjustable forks to accommodate the lifting of a wide range of wheel diameters.

We’re all used to the flexibility of the smaller items in our workshops. We roll out our Support Stands and Trolley Jacks exactly when we need them, and wheel them safely back into storage when we’re finished.

But the biggest gains in saving space come from the biggest items – and that’s a huge part of why our Mobile Column Lifts are so popular.

A fixed-installation lift is great when you’ve got the space for it. But that’s a vehicle-sized chunk of your workshop that’s always occupied. And when that lift isn’t in use, it’s an unnecessary limit on your overall capacity.

Because our Mobile Column Lifts are based around sets of individual columns (rather than a fixed platform), you can store them close together in a smaller area, taking up just a fraction of the space they need when they’re being used on a vehicle.

And the result?

When you don’t need to lift, you’ve gained an extra working space the size of an entire vehicle – which could mean fitting in two or three more staff working on smaller, individual jobs.
