Rental and financing specialist Mistral Group played its part in giving life-changing opportunities to young people by supplying two minibuses to OnSide Youth Zones, a charity that aims to provide youngsters with somewhere safe and inspiring to go in their leisure time.
One has gone to Bolton and the other to Wirral. They are used throughout the year as transport to life-changing events, giving opportunities and experiences that young people may otherwise never have had.
Says Stuart Barnes, Chief Executive of Wirral Youth Zone: “Without the support of Mistral, hundreds of our young people and their families would not have gained the fantastic opportunities that they have done.
“Many young people who access our Wirral Youth Zone have never set foot outside their local town. The minibus has allowed us to open their eyes to the wider world.”
The Wirral minibus has already taken one party to Portsmouth, and another to a two-day life skills course that ended with skiing and snowboarding lessons.
