Country Harvest in Ingleton will open a Christmas Cabin in September with the aim of attracting more visitors from further afield.
“Christmas is a really busy time for us, and we want to ensure customers have an even wider choice of both gifts and decorations sourced from across the UK and Europe,” says Mike Clark, Country Harvest owner.
“This will bring visitors to Ingleton and the surrounding area at a hugely important time of year, but one which is traditionally a quieter one for tourists.”
Country Harvest is an independent shopping and eating attraction, a combined food hall, coffee shop and gift hall.
The cedar-clad, 60x30ft Christmas Cabin will mostly be used to sell Christmas items, but in the spring and summer will also promote the work of selected local artists.
“We have so many wonderful Christmas items which we have sourced from both the UK and across Europe,” says Mr Clark. “We want to offer our customers things that they will not see anywhere else locally.”
Country Harvest has free coach parking, and also offers a Dine 'n' Shop deal: Groups can exclusively book Country Harvest for the evening, pay for a buffet or hot meal, and get 10% off everything bought on the night.
