Aldermaston Coach Lines open top bus for Southsea
SHARE

Aldermaston Coach Lines is to introduce an open-top service along Southsea seafront from Saturday 24 July. It will operate daily until Sunday 5 September. The route will run hourly and serve various attractions. It will utilise specially liveried vehicles carrying the Open Top 26 brand.

Says Aldermaston Coach Lines Owner and Managing Director Nick Morton: “As a child growing up in the late 1980s, I have many fond memories of riding the open-top buses along the seafront. The last open-top bus to operate on a similar route was curtailed in 2012.

“It is fair to say that the last 18 months have been challenging for our business, and indeed everyone. Since this is supposedly the year of ‘staycations’, it seemed a fitting time to introduce the service. Bringing Open Top 26 to fruition has been a great distraction, keeps our staff busy and hopefully will offer much enjoyment to our passengers.”
