Arriva Yorkshire has made six year old Oskar’s birthday wishes come true.

Bus loving Oskar has been in recovery from a kidney transplant and found comfort in going along to the bus station to watch the buses and chat to the drivers.

The drivers at Arriva’s Selby depot pulled together to transform one of its buses into a party bus so he could celebrate his birthday with all of his family and friends.

The driver, Tony Woodcock, then took the children for a tour around the town and organised a birthday cake for Oskar.

Jon Croxford, Area Managing Director for Arriva Yorkshire says; “Being a local bus company, the community is at the heart of everything we do, and this event was one way to thank Oscar and his Mum for being such loyal customers of ours.”
