Bouden’s Edition 1 Tourismo is complemented by a standard example

Birmingham operator Bouden Travel has purchased one of 11 limited-edition Mercedes-Benz Tourismo Edition 1s as part of an order for two new coaches from EvoBus (UK).

As a result, the operator’s whole fleet will be Euro 6 compliant by the end of 2018, says Sales and Operations Manager Sophie Baugh.

“A prime concern of ours has always been to remain as environmentally-friendly as possible. At the start of the year, I set a goal that by the end of December we would replace all of our coaches with Euro 6 models. The two new Tourismos mean that we will achieve that.”

The Edition 1 Tourismo has a variety of extras over the usual specification, including a polished chrome grille and bodywork vinyls around the windows. It also has Active Brake Assist 4. The other new addition is a standard model.
