Supplier CheckedSafe will host a free-to-attend transport compliance seminar in Burnley on 13 October. It will see a varied panel of transport industry experts discuss a variety of topics, including the prevention of bridge strikes; how to interpret brake test results; why vehicles are stopped by DVSA; the importance of good repute; and Earned Recognition (ER).
Speakers will include those drawn from DVSA, the Office of the Traffic Commissioner, Network Rail and an operator that is part of ER. In addition, CheckedSafe Director and co-founder Darran Harris and Engineering Director Kirk Hawksworth will address delegates.
A full programme for the seminar will be announced on the CheckedSafe website in due course and a complimentary lunch will be provided. In addition, delegates will have the opportunity to take part in some interactive quizzes and win prizes. Suppliers present will include CMAC, Fleetmaxx, Novuna, Quartix and Vue.
CheckedSafe says that attendance can count towards an individual’s continuous professional development hours.
Tickets can be obtained via Eventbrite. The venue will be at the Impact Conferencing facility at Life Church Lancashire, adjacent to junction 10 of the M65 motorway.
