The Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT) CoachMarque Conference is set to return in-person next month.

The Conference, which helps members, suppliers and operators share best practice, will take place at the Radisson Blue East Midlands Airport Hotel on April 10-11, with a dinner on 10 April and the conference taking place on the second day.

Various speakers will attend including: Joss Croft from UK Inbound; Claire Rawlinson from the We Are Buzz passenger transport marketing agency; Keith McDonnell from Global Passenger Network; and Scott James from Rise Digital Media.

Martin Butler, an entrepreneur and marketer who has worked with leading global brands, will be the special guest speaker and explain how the pandemic has changed customer expectations and how members can reach out effectively and grow business.

“Martin speaks passionately about how organisations must engage technology to reach out and wrap their customers rather than pull in and process them. His speaking engagements are packed with anecdotes, case studies and examples to simplify and explain how the key drivers of ‘choice and influence’ impact us all, consciously, and sub-consciously,” says a CoachMarque spokesperson.

The event is open to CoachMarque members and CPT members interested in joining the CoachMarque scheme.

Says Roland Eglinton, Chair of CoachMarque and MD of Chalkwell Coach Hire: “I cannot wait to catch up with our members and suppliers face to face. We have worked hard through the various lockdowns and restrictions to remain in touch with members, suppliers, and stakeholders so we can continue to support the coach industry.

“Now as we enter the spring of 2022, I want to bring a new energy to CoachMarque, to look at member engagement, supporting with new communication tools and technology so we can make CoachMarque membership great value for operators.

“This CoachMarque conference will give us an opportunity to not only give back to members but also hear from them about what more we can do for their business. We have a renewed focus on business development for CoachMarque and working with our CPT partners, we are ready for the Road Ahead.”

The event is sponsored by Backhouse Jones, Dawsongroup, TruTac, Rise Digital Media, Pelican Bus and Coach and Gallagher Insurance.

Event bookings close on 14 March.
