A £1m project to see car drivers using more public transport will be trialled in Coventry next year.
The scheme, organised by Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) will give motorists between £1,500 and £3,000 worth of credits to spend, using a smartphone app or Swift travel card, on public transport, taxis, bike share or a car club.
TfWM is working with Coventry City Council and is looking for car users to take part in a workshop on 26 February, to look at the proposals.
Later in the year TfWM will invite people, who are willing to give up their cars, to apply for the two-year pilot project.
