Stagecoach companies have donated a total of nearly 3,000 copies of a specially-published children’s educational paperback book to local schools, charities and hospitals.

Stagecoach saves the Buzzy Bees contains cartoon characters based on well-known Stagecoach vehicles and highlights the importance of bees as pollinators.

It was published by Stagecoach Group for its Environment and Community Week, which also involved its companies undertaking various activities in aid of local charities.

“We hope that by raising funds for local charities and donating our children’s books to local groups we can have a positive impact on our local communities,” said Stagecoach Group Chief Executive Martin Griffiths.
