Commercial vehicle electrification specialist Equipment has appointed Glenn Saint as Business Development Director in a move designed to further the company’s growth.

Mr Saint has held key leadership roles, including that of Chief of Commercial Vehicles, over the last six years, at Arrival. He was previously Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Optare, where he spent 17 years.

Equipmake, whose work include repowering of coach and bus to electric, says the new arrival will work across both national and international operations.

Ian Foley, CEO of Equipmake, says: “Glenn has a great amount of experience in both the electrified commercial vehicle and bus sectors, and I am delighted to announce his appointment as Business Development Director.

“He brings with him over 25 years of collective experience in these sectors and will further support Equipmake’s expansion plans targeting further growth in the provision of state-of-the-art electrification solutions to the bus, coach and heavy vehicle industries.”

Mr Saint adds: “Over the last five years, Equipmake has created a great reputation thanks to its in-house developed electrification systems for buses, coaches and heavy vehicles. I am proud and delighted to join Equipmake at what I believe is an exciting time for the business and am fully focused on being part of the expansion as the mobility industry transitions to zero-emissions.”
