FlixBus will offer tickets for the new Flibco Stansted Airport-London service as part of a collaboration between the two brands.

Airport transfer specialist Flibco began daily services to and from the airport and London Liverpool Street and Stratford on 1 April.

The Luxembourg-based business, which operates from 15 airports in six countries, has plans to revamp the airport transfer market in Europe with its advanced data processing approach.

FlixBus, meanwhile, also has intentions to widely grow its scheduled coach network in the UK this summer, and the new arrangement with Flibco will allow the brand to expand its offering to customers.

Both brands exclusively use partner operators to run services, Flibco having contracted The Coach Travel Group for the Stansted activity.

Flibco, which also sells tickets for other transport providers, does not currently offer journeys for any airport routes served by FlixBus UK or its sister businesses elsewhere in Europe.

Andreas Schorling, Managing Director of FlixBus UK, says: “Our bold expansion plan this summer includes this airport shuttle partnership with Flibco, to offer an even broader range of travel options on the Flix platform.

“Alongside the FlixBus network growth with our operator partners, we are now adding Stansted Airport as a destination for our customers, which will strengthen our footprint in the UK market and accelerate our journey towards market leadership.”
