GM Coachwork is heading north to the APSE show in Aviemore in May

Converter GM Coachwork has announced that it will be among the many suppliers making the trip north to Aviemore in May for the annual APSE Fleet, Waste and Grounds Conference.

Held on 15-18 May at the Hilton Coylumbridge, the event is the largest Scottish trade show of its kind. It attracts over 100 exhibitors, including all of the major converters in, and suppliers to, the accessible minibus industry.

The conference has traditionally been seen as a must-attend show by Scotland’s 32 local authorities, attracting delegates with direct procurement responsibility.

Besides vehicle converters, exhibitors from a variety of other areas showcase their wares, including seat manufacturers, tyre companies, software and technology suppliers and advisory service providers.

2017’s conference included a presentation from Scottish Traffic Commissioner Joan Aitken on the responsibilities of fleet managers and the issues that they face. APSE’s Striving for Excellence awards will again be held during the event and considerable networking opportunities will be available.

Other minibus bodybuilders and converters to have exhibited at past APSE Conferences include EVM, Mellor, Minibus Options, Nu-Track, O&H, Stanford Coachworks, TBC, and Treka Bus. Heating system suppliers, lift manufacturers and seating companies also attend.
