‘Janey the Witch’ has helped put Samlesbury on the map

Samlesbury Hall in Lancashire will host Steve Reed Tourism's Group Buyer Forum North on 18 September.

The event aims to put group tour organisers in front of hotels, attractions, destinations, retail outlets and tourist boards.

'Janey the Samlesbury Witch' will greet visitors and give them a special tour of the Hall and grounds. Her tours have helped Samlesbury Hall triple its group bookings over the last few years.

One of Lancashire's stunning stately homes is to cast its spell over the UK tourism industry later this year.

Group organisers will also be able to visit some of the attractions in the area as part of a fam trip. Steve Reed, MD of Steve Reed Tourism, says: “We are so glad to be working with the team at Samlesbury Hall. The attraction is not only a great venue for groups of all types but it also has a fascinating story to tell visitors."
